E-Course: Designing a Custom Trip Itinerary
So many have asked, and I'm finally delivering (sorry for the delay)!
This video tutorial includes the step by step guide to create your own creative trip itinerary PDFs. Whether you are doing it for personal trips, to offer as an add on service to your existing travel business, or if you're looking to offer custom PDFs as a business - this is for you.
It's a tad bit lengthy, as my goal was to be as detailed as possible (because I don't believe in wasting people's time nor money). I was sure to add captions to each video in case you're someone that prefers to fast forward to specific parts that you're interested in.
I break down step by step in a live creation of me designing a travel PDF from scratch. I show some of the tricks and tips that I've learned along the way to make things a bit easier.
If you are someone with a short attention span, this e-course may not be for you - as it is very, very detailed. I explain everything that is done and why.
Here are some things you can expect in this 100 minute tutorial that is broken up into 10 parts:
- The Basics: this is great for newbies to Canva Pro (yes, Pro is recommended). I explain what all of the commonly used buttons and tabs are for and how we'll use them.
- Setting Up Background and Pages: I'll show you how to create a background as well as how to easily prep your design to simply fill in the information after the "hard" part is done.
- Creating Title Page: I'll give you a detailed run through of how to format you title page, as well as how to find creative elements to make your Travel PDF stand out and align perfectly with the aesthetic of your trip.
- Creating Framework: the framework are the pages of the PDF that include things like: flight information, hotel information, trip itinerary, etc. I'll show you how to format these pages as well as how to add your own personal touch to each page.
- Adding Links & Photos: these items can really take your PDFs up a notch. I'll show you how to add them into your PDF so that your trip attendees will be more engaged in the information that's shared with them; as well as how to quickly access information (like booking links) for their convenience.
- How to Save & Share: there is a specific way that these documents must be shared. Sometimes the documents are too large to send, so I'll also share with you an easy way to decrease the file size so that you can send off the PDFs with ease.
I packed everything that I know into this tutorial to be sure that you have everything that you need to successfully create a bomb ass PDF.
